I am graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology.  I have also completed postgraduate work in Family Psychology. I am a clinical member of : The World Professional Assocition For Transgender Health, Inc., The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, The Minnesota Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, The Midwest Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and The Minnesota Society for Clinical Hypnosis. I am also a Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Approved Supervisor.

But more importantly, I have over fifteen years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a strength based psychotherapist, I believe in looking at the whole person not just the "issues or labels" people are struggling with when they come in for therapy. My approach explores the emotional, physical, behavioral, relational, sexual, and cultural aspects of clients lives that interfere and/or enhance quality of life.
